Owners/Founders Dr. Jeffrey Sawyer, Paula Brandt and Ian McLoone bring years of clinical experience, program development, advocacy and innovation to Expanse.

As former business owners/leaders at The Remedy, Minnesota Alternatives and Alltyr Clinic, our dynamic team of founders are leaders in the Behavioral Health field and represent a deep commitment to care that is person-centered and mission driven.

Our vision expands beyond providing quality care. We are here to shape the delivery of care into a system that truly puts people first and understands the often complex and longitudinal nature of serious mental health and substance use conditions. As a result of decades of clinical practice and the development of key partnerships, our team is positioned to impact both policy and systems change and produce a workforce designed for the 21st Century. Expanse also serves as a learning institute and is partnering with the University of Minnesota’s Center for Practice Transformation to develop a certification program for the Practice of Harm Reduction.

Our leadership team has brought numerous seasoned clinicians to Expanse which allows us to offer a highly skilled, heart-centered team of practitioners to address your needs.
